Terms & Conditions
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of www.europeanbusinesswallet.com ("the website"), published by Credenco B.V., registered in the Netherlands. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
2. Purpose of the website
The website exists to explain what the European Business Wallet is, why it is being introduced, how it works, and where to find primary sources. It offers no wallet service, holds no credentials, and performs no identification, signing or verification.
3. No legal or professional advice
Nothing on the website is legal, regulatory, technical or commercial advice, and nothing creates an adviser-client relationship. The European Digital Identity Framework and the Business Wallet proposal are subject to ongoing legislative and technical change: dates, obligations and specifications described here may be superseded. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult the official texts published by the European Union and take qualified advice.
4. Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care that the information is accurate and current, but we give no warranty that it is complete, error-free or up to date. The website is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, without notice.
5. Third-party sources and links
The website references and links to material from the European Commission, standards bodies, community initiatives such as FIDES, and individual wallet providers. Those references are provided for orientation and do not constitute endorsement, partnership or verification. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of external sites. Where a provider is listed in the wallets overview, the listing reflects publicly available information at the time of writing and should not be read as a statement about that provider's conformity or certification status.
6. Intellectual property
The texts, diagrams and design of the website are protected by copyright and, unless stated otherwise, belong to Credenco B.V. You may quote short extracts with a clear attribution and a link to the source page. Systematic reproduction, republication or commercial reuse requires prior written permission. Third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website unlawfully, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any system connected with it, not to interfere with its operation, and not to scrape or harvest content at a scale that impairs availability for others.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, lost profit and loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, wilful recklessness, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Declaration, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page, identified by the version number and date above. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes arising from or in connection with the website will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory protection available to consumers under the law of their country of residence.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@credenco.com.
